Taxes
You will notice that on every paycheck you receive, the US government will take out a certain amount for taxes. At the end of the year that you worked in, you will be required to file taxes with the US government. It is beneficial for you because you will most likely receive back most of the money that was initially taken from your paycheck.
At the end of the fiscal year (2008), your employer will send you a W-2, which is a report of all taxes you paid during the last year. You will need to fill out a form, called the 1040NR, using the information on your W-2. Be sure to include a copy of your W-2 with your tax return. You must send in all paperwork by April 15 of the year following your program.
